Conservatoire Concerts is holding two concerts this month. The Portuguese singer João Ferreira returns with a beautiful repertoire ranging from Baroque/Classical arias by Handel, Vivaldi and Mozart interspersed with other popular and more recent well-known Italian and Portuguese arias. Ferreira will once again be accompanied by Guy Murgatroyd on piano and a Fado guitar duo. This concert will take place on Saturday 2 November. On Saturday 30 November, the Chamber Music Festival commences with Lisson Piano Trio performing works by Beethoven, Brahms and Dvorak. The festival continues with Bodman String Quartet performing works by Haydn, Debussy and others on Saturday 7 December. All concerts start at 7pm at Godalming Baptist Church, GU7 1BA.
