Compton Club

Compton Club’s AGM will be held on Friday 6 December at 7pm. Only paid-up members will be allowed to attend and vote so remember to bring your membership card. To renew membership, visit compton-clubmembership. square.site/ or pay at the bar in the Club. New winter hours are Thursdays and Fridays from 7pm.

Onto the fun stuff… Come along to Compton Club’s Christmas Lights Party on Saturday 7 December, from 6pm till late. There will be mulled wine and mince pies, carol singers, Santa’s Grotto, plus the Best & Worst Christmas Jumper Competition. Then, on 31 December, the Club will be hosting a New Years Eve Party, from 6pm until 1am, featuring live music.

Later in the month, blast away the January blues and come to the Club’s Party For No Reason on Saturday 25 January from 6pm. www.comptonclub.co.uk.

DON’T FORGET, the Club is open on Thursdays and Fridays from 7pm.

The Club now has a team of volunteer bar staff doing a great job in opening the venue on Thursdays from 6pm and on Fridays from 5pm. There are also plans to open the Club on occasional Saturday evenings – it was great to see so many people after the recent fete.

Tim Carter is the new Chairman while Paul Webb-Jones has rejoined the Committee in the role of Treasurer. The other Committee members are Humphrey Cox and Will Wells.
