What’s on in April at St Nicholas Church?

• Muddy Church is on the first Sunday of every month (except school holidays) at 10.30am.

• Toddler group Fledglings is on Mondays, 9am (term-time) at Puck’s Oak Barn. Contact fledglingscompton@gmail.com.

• Small Groups every week during Lent. Please contact our Rector Sally to be part of one of these.

• Inside Outside meets on Saturday 5 April, 10am to noon to keep the church and churchyard looking good. Contact stnicholascompton.wardens@gmail.com.

• Bell ringing practice is held once or twice a month on Tuesdays at 10am, with bell ringing on Sundays from 10am to 10.30am. Contact phil.gorton@btinternet.com.

Cleaning required for St Nicholas church

Light cleaning required at St Nicholas. Do you have two hours free a fortnight? The work can be done whenever the church is open and not in use for services or ceremonies. £60 a month for 4 hours. St Nicholas Choir

St Nicholas’ choir will be singing again on Sunday 6 April at 6pm. Come and join us for this service of themed music and prayer for Lent after which we'll be gearing up for our Easter celebrations Palm Sunday (April 13) and Easter Day (April 20). St Nicholas Church has spaces in its choir stalls and welcomes any adults who are interested in church singing to try the choir out. It sings on most Sunday mornings and once a month in the evening (preceded by the monthly choir practice). There are extra services at Christmas and Easter and occasional weddings and funerals. The current choir members can all read music (to some extent!). Anyone who joins does not necessarily need to commit to singing every week.
