Godalming Choral Society’s rehearsals are now underway at the Wilfrid Noyce Community Centre, Godalming, GU7 1DY, under Musical Director George de Voil. He is leading the singers in an exciting programme for its Christmas concert, at 7.30pm on Saturday 30 November at St. John’s Church, Farncombe, GU7 3EJ. The concert will include Schubert’s Mass in G Major, Bob Chilcott’s ‘On Christmas Night’, Gerald Finzi’s ‘In Terra Pax’ & Jonathan Dove’s ‘Seek Him That Maketh The Seven Stars’; and of course some carols for choir and audience.
